DIY Statement Crystal Necklace

Do you like geometry? Or puzzles? Even if you don't, I assure you that you will enjoy this DIY statement crystal necklace.

I was going to post yesterday but I was so tired I couldn't even remember the word rhinestones. My brain simply wasn't cooperating so I figured a good night's sleep would be the only remedy.

Now that I am awake and armed with a cup of tea, let us begin!

For this DIY, you will need:

  • Pliers
  • Jump rings
  • 20 gauge wire or headpins
  • Chain
  • Sphere beads
  • Rhinestones
  • Clasps (not pictured)

Begin by deciding the design for the gemstones. Have fun with it and when you are happy with your arrangement...

Add on your jump rings. In my opinion, the smaller your jump rings are, the more stable the necklace.

Cut the appropriate amount of chain with your pliers and start connecting the rhinestones. Make sure your chain has some slack.

And keep going...

After you have attached all the rhinestones together. Attach a headpin to one side of your arrangement and chain to the other side.

Add your beads to the headpin, close the headpin and connect it to the chain. Attach your clasps and you are done!
