Perusals of the Week - October 11, 2014

Some really great things happened this week and I have some fantastic reads for you guys today!

Bustle came out with this great article on What Inspires these 7 CEOs each morning.

From World of Wanderlust: Travel Resources You Need To Know About (To Save Time, Money, and Stress). It's filled with links and apps to get great deals and resources!

This article from Bustle talks about why we need to change the strong female cliche and just write women. It raises some great points. As the article states, the problem with the "strong female character" is that it implies that she is strong...for a female. Why even create a comparison?

This was an interesting talk from NPR. Why Self- Talk isn't just good for confidence - it's "internal remodeling".

Disappointed that the cloud cover obscured the lunar eclipse but National Geographic put together fantastic a time lapse of the lunar eclipse on the National Mall in Washington D.C!

The Nobel Peace Prize went to two very deserving individuals this week: Malala Yousafzai and Kailash Satyarthi. Both stories are so inspiring and I am in awe of their courage.
