Influenster #RefreshVoxBox

I was recently give the chance to review some products via Influenster's #RefreshVoxBox which had the theme of refreshing yourself for the new year. This is slightly different from my normal posts, but if you like, you can stick around for the unbiased opinion on these products on a slightly lazy 20 something. I received these products complimentary for testing purposes, but my reviews are my own and 100% unbiased.



To  make things easier, I am going to split these 9 products into groups of three:

Food!!!!

• Beanitos Chips (Highly Recommended)- I think the idea of these are great. Healthy chips that have protein? Why aren't there more of these? Influenster sent me two flavors - Nacho Cheese and White Bean with Sea Salt. I really enjoyed the White Bean with Sea Salt flavor - it could be a good alternative for your normal tortilla chips. The Nacho Cheese, while certainly edible ( I ate the whole  thing) is a little intense and hits you immediately with the cheese. 
• Skinnygirl Tasty Nutrition Bars (Recommended if you like chocolate and peanut butter) - I don't like chocolate (gasp!) and peanut butter is bearable for me, so I didn't really enjoy it as much. It's pretty great nutritionally with 6 g protein, but I would rather go grab a bag of those Beanitos.
• Orgain Certified Organic Nutritional Shakes (Recommended if you like Shakes) - Not a fan of shakes but this one was alright. It was a little grainy and I can definitely see this as something to grab for breakfast if you are running late. Plus, it's organic!

To avoid bad breath and getting stuff stuck in your teeth...

• DenTek Comfort Clean Floss Picks (Recommended) - I liked these. I think all of these products are great to throw into your purse and use after eating. Plus, they came in a little packet that allowed for easy access.
• DenTek Fun Flossers (Recommended) - These are like the floss picks - but for kids. I gave them to a few younger kids and their verdict was that they were awesome. These are just a little gentler than the the Floss Picks
• Listerine Cool Mint PocketPaks (Recommended)- I love these. They are great before any big meeting or when you just have to meet people. Sometimes, you don't have time to chew some gum or pop a mint, but these take less than a second and just dissolve on your tongue. 

To keep your face beautiful...

• COVERGIRL UltraSmooth Foundation (Recommended) - I was pleasantly surprised with this. It was fairly close to my skin color ( Good Job Influenster). It also came with a UltraSmooth Foundation applicator which looks like a little pink rubber oval which actually did a good job at applying this light foundation. I think this would be great for the summertime.
• Montagne Jeunesse Face Masque (Maybe recommended) - I am not sure how well this worked. It smells fantastic, goes on nicely, peels off fairly well, but I don't know how much it "detoxed' my skin. It felt the same before and after I used it.
• L'OCCITANE Shea Butter Light Comforting Cream (Highly recommended) - This was my favorite product out of the box. It's light, smells fantastic and does a great job of moisturizing. Even with the PolarVortex, my skin hasn't gotten dry ever since I started using this. Plus, the company is in a partnership with women in Burkina Faso, West Africa who make the Shea butter which allows for the empowerment of women.
