And my obsession with spikes and coins continues! I made these earrings a while ago and it was my first attempt at working with E600 glue, so I apologize in advance for the lack of pictures!
For this DIY, you will need:
- Chain
- Spike beads
- Jump rings
- Coins
- Beading wire or Headpins
- Pliers
- Earring hooks
- E600 Glue
1.
Begin by cutting your wire to a desired length. Make a loop at one end and then coat the wire or headpin with E600 glue. Add on the spike beads and the coins. You may need to reapply glue to wire or headpin. This will ensure that the spike beads don't move around. Make sure you do this step outdoors to avoid the glue's strong fumes! Once the glue has dried, cut off the excess and make another loop at the end.
2.
Cut out your chain and attach it to the sides of the headpins using jump rings.
3.
Add your earring hook with another jump ring and you are done!
