DIY White Crystal Necklace

I promised a DIY this week and it's finally here! As I mentioned in the last Perusals of the Week, things just got busy and I didn't have as much time to edit pictures and type a post. But, I am fairly free now, so you should anticipate many more DIYs!

DIY Sliding Knot Bracelet

I have been slowly running out of jewelry supplies which means the jewelry I can make is sorely limited...or is it?

Thankfully, if you have the basic string and beads, you are all set. The only problem is the clasps, but thankfully a sliding knot will do the trick!

DIY: Gray and Gold Swirls Bracelet

I don't like wasting things. These include but are not limited to food, water, and jewelry making supplies.

After a while, bits and ends start piling up. I have been experimenting with wire work and I have accumulated an abundance of twisted wire fragments laying around. Instead of attempting to straighten them or tossing them out, I decided to work with them and not against them.

I have been digging the gold and gray combination for a while so I am incredibly happy with the result.

DIY: Dainty bracelet

Sometimes, simple is better.

Don't get me wrong. I love complicated. I love challenges. I love wearing ostentatious amounts of statement jewelry. But sometimes, you need a breather.

And that is where this bracelet comes in. Simple, easy to make, and a quick break before diving back into life.

So, let's begin.

Try out different color combos!

For this DIY, you will need:

• Pliers
• 20 or 24 gauge wire
• Chain
• A bead

1.

Cut a piece of chain that is half the length of your wrist. Cut a piece of wire about 3 inches long. Make a loop at one end with your pliers and attach it your chain.

Add your bead to the piece of wire. Make a loop at the other end of the wire and attack it to another piece of chain that is half the length of your wrist.

3.

Attach your clasps and you are done!

You now have a small dainty bracelet that is great for layering!

DIY Spike Bracelet

If you have been following this blog for awhile, you may have noticed some motifs and recurring themes. One of which is a love for spikes. I kind of love spikes. Used properly they can bring some flavor into a potentially boring piece of jewelry.

The only problem is deciding at what point you have too many spikes.

This DIY is fairly easy and I am not sure if it even warrants a DIY...

DIY Beads and Chain Bracelet

I have an excuse. I have a very valid excuse for posting two days late. Kinda. I didn't forget nor did I not want to post. The post I was working on was just taking too long so I had to scrap the idea. Thankfully, I had this DIY as a back-up!

The DIY bracelet uses the same idea from my DIY Spike Necklace. A centerpiece of beads on wire secured with chain. It's super easy to make and it's great for layering!

DIY Beaded Bracelet

I know what you are thinking. ANOTHER beaded bracelet?! Using some of the SAME beads?!

I couldn't resist. For some reason, I am really loving beaded pieces and I simply love these beads.

That being said, it is different! We are using beading wire instead of hemp and I will be honest, I had forgotten that it takes longer to work with wire.

Still, the time was worth it and I am incredibly happy with this simple, chic bracelet.
